We are now accepting online vendor applications for the 2017 OUTDOOR Markets. Please read the following before applying.
All vendors must read, accept and adhere to the 2017 Market Regulations. Only vendors who grow, raise, bake or make the products they plan to sell are eligible to vend at the Kamloops Regional Farmers’ Market.
If you are wanting to sell any foods other than fresh, whole fruits and vegetables please review the Guidelines for the Sale of Foods at Temporary Food Markets and fulfill any necessary requirements through the Interior Health Authority (IHA). If you are selling prepared, ready-to-eat foods it is essential that you review the IHA regulations and establish whether your food is low-risk or high-risk. Some low-risk foods are permit exempt, but high-risk foods will require an application. This includes getting approval for the sale of raw shell eggs (find application on page 14 of the Guidelines). You are required to provide proof that the foods you are selling are prepared in an approved facility, or proof that they are considered low-risk and may be prepared in a home kitchen. All paperwork must be submitted in order for your application to be considered. You will find more information in the 2017 Market Regulations.
For the Wednesday market, please be aware that space is limited and some spaces are different sizes. Vendors are placed strictly according to the market’s hierarchy, as well as application date. Market managers do their best to accommodate all vendors, but ultimately it is their decision where a vendor may set up. Please respect these decisions.
You may either fill out the online application form below and hit submit, or print out and mail the 2017 Vendor Application along with your contract and fees. If you have any questions about filling out the application form, please contact the Saturday manager at moc.tekramsremrafspoolmaknull@ofni or at 250-682-7975.
Please click the Submit button only once. You will see a confirmation appear on the screen in light green. If you do not see this, you can confirm receipt of your application form by contacting the market manager. Multiple submissions only slows down the process for everyone.
If you have not already done so please fill out the 2017 Contract and mail in the required fees according to the schedule below to Box 1282, Kamloops, BC, V0E 6H3.
The deadline for returning vendor applications is March 31, 2017; submit your completed application (including health permits, fees, contract and seasonal fee) before this deadline to secure a space. Seasonal vendor applications received after this date will be issued a spot space-permitting only, and will not be guaranteed the same spot as last year.
*Daily vendors pay on the days they attend the market.*
